    GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice)

    GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) – indicates what activities and conditions must be met so that production of food takes place in the way which ensures proper health quality of food, according to its purpose. 

    Thanks to this procedure, a manufactured product surely meets health quality and food safety requirements. The scope of GMP covers all areas of food manufacturing.

    GHP (Good Hygiene Practice)

    GHP (Good Hygiene Practice): these are hygienic conditions which must be met at all stages of food production and turnover in order to ensure food safety. The scope of GHP covers:

     

    • personal hygiene and health state of people performing tasks during the manufacturing process, cleaning and disinfection processes 
    • water supply
    • Waste and wastewater removal
    • anti-pest protection control
    • employee’s qualifications and trainings
    • machine and equipment maintenance

    Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points HACCP

    HACCP is a system of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points. This system identifies all health hazards (microbiological, chemical, physical ones) which exist in the proccess of food manufacturing, as well as the tools to control these hazards. It aims at ensuring health quality of food products, food which is safe for consumer’s health and life.  

    Implemented HACCP system remains in conformity with the regulations of the Codex Alimentarius. Owing to implementing the system of HACCP, BOMADEK can produce safe food (without chemical, biological, physical contamination), better usage of resources and ingredients thanks to their classification and increase in customer’s trust.

    International Food Standard (IFS)

    International Food Standard (IFS) was drawn up in Germany and France. IFS is dedicated to all food manufacturers who mark their products with a trademark according to regulations referring to food trading and participants of the food chain. The standard combines requirements included in ISO 9001 and HACCP.

    IFS standard:

    • ensures safety and quality of food products as well as their concordance with legal requirements. 
    • creates uniform requirements for all food manufacturers and participants of the food chain. 
    • introduces particular rules and basis for certification of companies delivering products to commercial networks. 

    Thanks to IFS, BOMADEK has:

    • been able to prove that it produces safe products of high quality
    • opened paths to cooperate with commercial networks
    • built up trust of consumers and merchants for whom safety and quality of a product are crucial

    BRC - Global Standard

    BRC Global Standard-Food is a standard, which was drawn up in Great Britain in 1998 by British Retail Consortium leaders in response to implemented reforms regulating requirements imposed on food plants which delivered food to hypermarkets. 
    BRC aims at specifying requirements concerning safety and quality in food manufacturing plants. Implementing BRC influences improvement of quality and meeting product safety and legality requirements in all areas of the company. The BRC standard is used by suppliers all over the world (Europe, Africa, Middle and Far East, Asia, Australia, North and South America).


    BRC standard:

    • guarantees safety and quality of food products as well as their concordance with legal requirements. 
    • creates uniform requirements for all food manufacturers and participants of the food chain. 
    • introduces particular rules and basis for certification of companies delivering products to commercial networks. 

    The scope of BRC standard covers all areas of food safety and product legality. It defines particular requirements which must be met to ensure safety and necessary repetitive level of final product’s quality. 


    Thanks to BRC, BOMADEK has:

    • acquired evidence to prove that it produces safe products of high quality,
    • opened paths to cooperate with commercial networks,
    • built up trust of consumers and merchants for whom safety and quality of a product are crucial,
